摘要
本文通过深圳个案,分析了城市农民工在第二市场择业特征及其与自身因素之间的关系。作者认为,大多数进城农民工从事的职业或工种地位低、收入低、劳动时间长、不稳定性、临时性强;除了体制和政策障碍等直接因素外,农民工自身因素,如较低的人力资本和社会资本水平、风险厌恶特性、家庭收入最大化决策模式等,也是导致他们在第二市场择业的重要原因。但是,这种带有明显市场分割特征的农民工就业格局,存在着不利于农村富余劳动力转移、缩小城乡差距以至整个国民经济发展的隐患。
An empirical study on employment for peasant workers in Shenzhen city were conducted. The authors found that most of the migrant peasant workers from rural area were employed in secondary job market. And, the authors concluded that the intrinsic factors of peasant workers were important reasons why they worked in informal sectors. The factors including the level of human capital, and social capital, the nature of risk aversion, and the motivation to maximize their family income, etc. But, this peasant workers' employment pattern may lead a low e-quilibrium, and retard the trans - regional migration.
