摘要
为了能够在网络上有效支持多媒体业务,引发了近年来大量的支持媒体流的端到端拥塞控制协议的开发,这些算法都致力于实现TCP友好和提供尽可能平滑的探测带宽两个方面,而忽略了媒体流的特殊性质和特殊要求。本文提出了CAIMD算法,这个算法的特点在于:根据发送分组所携带的优惠值,动态地修正线性增加的斜率,在路由器采用CRED丢弃算法的前提下,CAIMD能够在保证不同重要性的信息分组得到不等丢失率保护的同时,实现TCP友好。理论推导和仿真证明算法的可行性。
The increasing demand of multimedia application has spurred recent interests in end-to-end congestion control for continuous stream. However,all these mechanisms proposed so far try to provide smooth sending rate and be friendly to TCP,they pay little attention to the characteristics that distinguish a continuous stream from a non-real-time service. We proposed CAIMD algorithm in this paper. The contribution of this algorithm lies in: By using coupon mechanism and dynamic changing slope of sending windows according application data importance,CAIMD can protect important packet in packet level and CAIMD is friendly to TCP flow on condition that router adopts CRED as buffer management algorithm. Theory analysis and simulations of this algorithm was given out in this paper.
