摘要
H.264虽然是一个划时代的数字视频压缩标准,但是随着数字视频产业链的高速发展,H.264的局限性逐步显现。尤其在高清视频快速发展下,由于H.264标准核心压缩算法的完全固化,并不能够通过调整或扩充来更好地满足当前高清数字视频应用。与H.264相比,H.265的最大本领是可以在维持画质基本不变的前提下,让数据传输带宽减少至H.264的一半。同时其还支持最高为7680×4320的分辨率,因此,即使是2160P甚至更高级别的超高清视频同样可以通过H.265格式进行编码。此项技术的提升,有效解决了高清视频窄带传输的问题,为使用有限的卫星带宽资源传输高清图像画面提供极大的帮助。
Although H.264 is the epoch-making digital video compression standard with the development of digital video industry link, it shows more limitations. Especially with the rapidly development of high-definition(HD) video, compression algorithm of H.264 standard is fully hardening and cannot meet the high-definition(HD) digital video application through adjustment or expansion. Comparing with H.264, H.265 could achieve the same images quality while use half bandwidth of H.264, and also it supports 7680*4320 high resolutions. Even 2160P or ultra high-definition HD video, H.265 could be used for coding. Such technology solved the transmission problem of high-definition(HD) video with narrowband and make effort to transmit high-definition(HD) images with limited satellite band source.
