摘要
根据佛经的记载,释迦牟尼在室罗伐悉底国舍卫城受胜光王之请,为降伏六师外道,渐次显现各种不同的神通,如上升虚空现四威仪行立坐卧;当然最著名的神通是释迦显现无上大神变的场景。在印度和中国都有许多表现无上大神变场景的雕刻。文章将对国内这些雕刻特别是四川安岳的相关雕刻作一介绍。
According to the Buddhist sutras’record,in order to subdue the six heretical masters,the King Prasenajit invited Sakyamuni to show his super power like walking,standing,sitting and lying down in the vacant space.The most famous super power is to demonstrate thousand Buddha in lotus.There are many stone carvings of this subject existed in India and China.We will introduce some of these carvings in China,especially in Anyue,Sichuan province.
