This essay discusses the design of Taizhou Contemporary Art Museum,the latest work by Deshous.In the beginning,the article analyzes the unique Italian characteristics of this project.It then gives deeper interpretations on its various aspects including the piazza,Romanesque features,monumentality,rooms and promenade experience.At last it discusses the essentiality of LIU Yichun’s notions of'Jiagou'and'Jiwuxing'.It argues that both of these conceptions aim at an emphasis on specific meanings.
