摘要
基因组测序是当今生物学领域的一个重要研究手段,而基因组组装是其首要问题。2014年"深圳杯"数学建模夏令营B题要求学生对一个相对短的基因组(细菌人工染色体BAC)的下一代测序数据建立基因组组装算法,并编制程序加以实现。本文对学生所提交解答的情况进行了一个简单评述。
Gene sequencing is a major tool for modern biological researches,and genome assembly is the first step to such a study.During the 2014 summer school for mathematical modeling in Shenzhen,students are asked to assemble a relatively short genome from the next generation sequencing reads from a BAC(Bacteria Artificial Chromosome).A brief summary is given in this paper to demonstrate the highlights and shortages of the student's solutions.
