摘要
本文重点阐述了中国家具制造业信息化的重要性、研究现状和发展趋势,并探讨了实现中国家具制造业信息化的基本途径。在当前"以信息化带动工业化,以工业化促进信息化"、"用高新技术和先进适用技术改造提升传统产业"的宏观背景下,中国家具制造业信息化进程势在必行。
Globalization and China's joining WTO has brought both opportunities and challenges for China's furniture manufacturing companies. Based on an analysis of China's current furniture industry, the authors explained the importance and significance of information technology for the Chinese furniture manufacturing industry. They also presented that the key for forming the highlyindustrialized and modernized furniture industry is to reform management methods and the manufacturing process basing it on IT, rather than merely on a labor intensive work force.
