Study on And Stuff and Or Something from the Perspective of Lexical Priming

摘要 英语青少年是使用句尾标记语最广泛和稳定的群体,但相关具体使用研究较少。词汇触发理论对于词的全面使用提出了新的解释方向,故本研究从该理论出发,研究英国青少年在使用and stuff和or something的触发机制,探究其语言特点。研究结果一方面对如何习得并恰当使用GEs有重要参考价值,另一方面丰富了词汇触发理论在语用功能方面的解释力。 Literature reveals that British teenagers use general extenders( GEs) most widely and steadily,but little research has emerged concerning their detailed and specific use. As the lexical priming theory ignites the study on the comprehensive use of words,this paper studies the priming mechanisms of and stuff and or something,to explore the language features of British teenagers. The results offer insights into the study and acquisition of GEs,and enrich the lexical priming in the pragmatic area.
