摘要
通过基于价值观的话语建构,新闻报道可以引导受众对现实的感知,于是成为修辞分析的研究对象。本文旨在论证批判性修辞分析在推动新闻理论对于透明性批判方面所做的贡献。文章首先将新闻报道置于修辞研究的框架进行考量,接着通过五个案例对新闻报道中经常出现的一种修辞结构进行讨论。这种修辞结构经常出现在新闻报道中,是从模仿转移到叙述的隐藏论辩。分析显示,识别并分析修辞策略的运用、澄清新闻报道话语的修辞动力,有助于新闻透明性理论的发展。
Journalism reporting construes an audience's perception of reality by means of value-based discourse.This makes it an object for rhetorical analysis.This article demonstrates the value of critical rhetorical analysis as a contribution to the development of a critical journalism theory on transparency.First,journalism reporting is positioned within the rhetorical framework.Then five examples of one rhetorical structure are discussed.This structure,the hidden argumentative shift from mimesis to diegesis,appears frequently in journalism reporting.The analyses show that recognizing and analyzing the employment of rhetorical devices,clarifying the rhetorical dynamics of journalist reporting discourse,contributes to the development of a theory of journalism transparency.
