摘要
耿马总佛寺的多元文化特征主要表现在建筑风格、寺院壁画以及教义和仪轨等方面,其中建筑上具有浓厚的缅式、傣式、汉式等风格特征;经画与壁画在绘画风格上呈现出缅式和傣式风格,而技法上则是以傣族、汉族为主;在教义和仪轨方面则是在以南传佛教教义为主的基础之下,借鉴和吸纳了汉传佛教的教义。通过嵌入概念和系统理论,笔者建构出耿马总佛寺的多元文化形成机制,并认为在这一机制作用下而形成的多元文化格局能够使得耿马总佛寺更好地向当地信众提供社会支持功能,有效地整合社会秩序,并加强当地人对佛寺的认同感和归属感,使得当地民众即使存在着族群、地缘等不同社会背景的情况下,仍能形成相互和谐、友好相处的社区环境。
The Gengma General Temple is full of Theravada Buddhism features in Yunnan Province,mainly manifesting in the architectural style,temple murals,doctrines,rituals and other aspects.Firstly,the architecture has a strong multifold characteristic of Burmese,Dai,Han and other styles;Secondly,Burmese and Dai style exits in forms of expression in religious paintings and murals,whereas Dai and Han style consists in techniques and methods;Additionally,local religious doctrines and rituals is under the guidance of Theravada Buddhist doctrines,with selective absorption and adoption between Chinese Buddhism and local folk religion.By embedding concepts and system theory,the multicultural formation mechanism is established and a multicultural pattern can be presented in Gengma General Buddhist,which provides social support function for local believers,effectively integrates the social order,helps the Buddhist organization merge into the local people’s life,and strengthens the sense of identity and belonging of the local people to the Buddhist temple.No matter how different their ethnic groups,current crowding regions and other social backgrounds are,the local people can still form a harmonious and friendly community.
