摘要
以文献、史书和传说等资料、地名学和谱牒学等为据,结合南北相关民俗,从文化人类学角度对襄樊名称来由进行探讨,重点在探讨"襄"的由来:相———相人———襄。巴人廪君系五姓都与东夷族关系紧密,因各种原因都迁居晋南,晋南结盟后,五姓适时南迁,经过今湖北省襄樊市襄城、樊城故地相氏控制今襄城故地及襄水,樊氏控制今樊城故地。襄地、襄水,相氏之地理山川;樊地、樊家坡,樊氏地理山川。相,后来演变为襄。
Based on literature, historic books, legend, science of place name and family tree and so on, and on folk customs in the south and north, this paper discusses the reason for the name of Xiangfan by using culture and anthropology and mainly focuses on 'Xiang' which means 'Xiang-Xiang Ren-Xiang'. People of five family names of Linqun people of Ba and Yu have close relationship with Dongyi nationality who emigrated to the south of Jin. After alliance at the south of Jin, the people of five family names emigrated to the south via Xiangcheng of Hubei Province and Xiang people controlled the Xiangcheng and Xiangshui. Xiangdi, Xiangshui and Xiangshi was controlled by Xiang (相) and Xiangdi, Xiangjiapo and was controlled by Xiang(襄). 相 became 襄.
