摘要
格物知性与由性生知是王夫之心性论的重要命题,这两个命题的关联表明了他的心性论与知识论互相作用的方式。首先,他规定了心、性、情诸概念的内涵,区分了心为主宰与性为主宰这两种说法的意义,主张以性做主去规范心的活动。其次,把格物作为知性的途径,强调知识活动对于价值活动的基础作用。最后,认为性是人的全部性质、全部获得的浓缩,从性中绎出、伸展出的知识活动才不会逸出价值理想的制约。格物知性和由性生知也是王夫之对王门后学的流弊提出的救治之方。
The relationship between 'knowing nature through investigation of things' and 'nature producing knowledge' indicates the interaction way about mindnature and knowledge in thought of Wang Fuzhi. Firstly, he distinguishes the significance of two parlances that mind is dictating and nature is dictating, protests of making nature as a host to normalize the action of mind. Secondly, he emphasizes the foundational action of knowledge. Lastly, he considers that nature is concentrated of human's all acquisition; the action that extends from nature just would not be out of bound of idea. It is also the prescription that controls the disease of Wang Yangming's disciples.
