After the Iraq War, the United States heavily strengthened its influence on Gulf Area, and OPEC would have less control of international petroleum market along with Iraq' s return into oil market and might lose its control of international oil prices. For the future,four oil supply circles including Mid - East, Russia - Caspian Sea Rim, Southeast Asia and Africa will be formed globally, and fierce competition for market share will go along among them. Strategic petroleum reserve systems in the world will be further improved.
