摘要
简要评述了地形可视化的研究发展过程 ,着重探讨了三维地形景观生成的理论和方法 ,提出了解决超大数据量数字高程模型 (DEM )快速显示的算法 ,研究了基于三维地形空间分析的理论 .
The terrain visualization development is first reviewed in this paper.Theories and methods of 3D terrain visualization creation are then discussed in detail.The technology of how to display huge volume of digital elevation model(DEM) data is proposed,and spatial analysis is studied based on the terrain created using DEM.Based on the theories above,the development and implementation of an application system which includes 3D visualization and interactive operation are illustrated in the end.
