The Effect of Suppressing for Self-pulsing Behavior in Er^(3+)-doped and Er^(3+)/Yb^(3+) co-doped fiber laser

摘要 针对掺Er3+光纤激光器存在的自脉动现象,分析了其存在的原因,提出了抑制的方法。数值计算表明,由于Yb3+的加入,在Er3+/Yb3+共掺光纤激光器中,自脉动现象得到了有效的抑制。 Selfpulsing behavior has been observed for Er3+doped fiber laser.The reason of selfpulsing was analyzed and the ways of suppressing it are presented.Numerical results show that selfpulsing behavior can be suppressed effectively in Er3+/Yb3+ codoped fiber laser.
