摘要
'建设性新闻'这一理论认为媒体和记者当以立足未来、直面问题、积极诉求、解决导向、行动第一的新闻报道来履行公共责任、谋求公众福祉。作为一个缺少共识性概念定义,同时又具有一定理念统摄力、现实推广力和理论建设力的西方新闻运动,建设性新闻具有典型的'伞式'特征,试图涵盖西方历次、多个具有一定社会影响的新闻运动理论及实践。这种'伞式'运动策略、范畴特征、思维导向和关联价值,究其本质,是一种针对新闻消极传统的批判,使其具有树起新一轮新闻公共责任大旗的可能。它的出现是对西方新闻传统的纠偏和补充,可以与中国的新闻建设性研究互为他山之石,创造共同为全球新闻学新进路贡献力量的可能。
The theory of'constructive journalism'holds that the media and journalists should fulfill their public responsibilities and seek public welfare by focusing on the future,facing problems directly,appealing to positivity,solving orientation,and acting first.As a Western journalism movement which lacks a consensus definition and has certain conceptual absorptivity,practical popularization and theoretical construction,constructive journalism has typical'umbrella'characteristics,trying to cover the theories and practices of various western journalism movements with certain social influence.This'umbrella'movement strategy,category characteristics,thinking orientation and relevance value,in essence,is a critique on the negative tradition of journalism,which makes it possible to raise a new banner of public responsibility of news.Its appearance is a correction and supplement to the western journalism tradition.It can be used as a tool for the constructive study of Chinese journalism and create the possibility of contributing to the new approach of global journalism.
