摘要
爱德华·阿尔比 (EdwardAlbee)作为六、七十年代美国荒诞性戏剧的代表性人物 ,其作品多以家庭生活为素材 ,以荒诞夸张的表现手法 ,真实地再现现代美国家庭及社会生活中的种种矛盾与问题。本文将通过对比阿尔比的两篇同素材的作品———《沙箱》和《美国梦》 ,从创作手法和社会意义等角度 ,剖析其作品深刻而深远的社会影响力。
As the most influential figure of the American Absurdity play,Edward Albee wrote many plays which exposed the conflicts in the American families.From these plays,we can study not only the moral issues related to the family life but also the social problems thereby.In this article,the author selects two of his plays of the same theme as an expmple.
