Some of the uncommon injuries and illnesses may occur under extraordinary circumstances, placing the suffer-ers in jeopardy. Such injuries and illnesses include: (1) injuries by depleted uranium weapon, fuel air explosive and microwaveweapon, as well as psychotic disorders during war time; (2) anthrax, smallpox etc. posed by terrorist attacks; (3) seriousaccidents like nuclear, chemical and coal mine accident; (4) calamities including earthquake, marine perils.
