隐元隆琦是日本黄檗宗的开山祖。然而 ,他首先是一位明末遗民 ,一位悲伤的亡国诗僧。这可以从他和南明抗清人士的关系中得到证明。
It is well known that Chan Master Yinyuanlongqi was the founder of Huangbo Sect(Japanese:Obaku Shu),the latest sect of Chan Buddhism in the orient.However,first of all he was a mournful poet who still retained genuine loyalty to Ming Dynasty after it had been replaced by Qing Dynasty.This is seen in the connection between him and the South Ming powers that fought against Qing Dynasty.
