摘要
本文在对汉英缩略词语进行分类总结之后 ,从汉语和英语两种语言的基本构成出发 ,运用对比分析的方法比较了汉英缩略词语的异同 ,并论证了以汉字为基础的汉语 ,在词语缩略的广度以及稳定性等方面 ,都有着比以字母为基础的英语更为优越的特点。
After a classification of the types of Chinese and English shortenings, this paper compares the similarities and differences between the two by analyzing the lexical features of the two languages. The paper holds the view that the Chinese language, with Chinese characters as its basic building blocks, is superior to the English language in both the range and steadiness of shortenings.
