摘要
笔者经多年考察,认为浙江山地地貌中热带地貌遗迹显著,山区新构造运动主要表现为缓慢地抬升,沿海阶梯状斜坡主要是由于差异风化和剥蚀所造成。
A geomorphic survey in the mountain regions of Zhejing Province has been carried out and the following phenomena of the landform development are discovered:
1. Relict of tropical landforms is widespread, which includes (1) red-soil-covered etchplains on the surfaces of mountain peaks, (2) universally-developed intramontane basins on crystalline rocks in the mountain regions; and (3) tall stone forests and thick terra rossa which developed on limestones and are still well preserved today.
2. Neotectonic movement in the mountain regions shows itself mainlyin the form of whole mass in slow rise, but no active fault has been discovered in the edges of basins.
3. Some stepped slopes along coast, which have long been recognised as abrasion terraces, are believed to be caused by differences in the rate of weathering and erosion in the two environments to which granitic rocks are subject. When buried by overburden, the granitic rocks are moist almost the year round and rapidly disintegrated; when exposed, the granitic rocks are dry and slowly weathened. Repetition of phases of weathering and erosion cause the present stepped slopes (Fig.5A,B,C).
