The paper has clearly manifested the influences of H 2 on the quality of alloy steels, the expression of the defects caused by H 2 in steel, the relation between H 2 content and plasticity of steel, the theory basis of de hydrogen with heat treatment and the general pattern of heat treating technology for de-hydrogen , as well as the prospect of promoting the probability of the production of the top-class high speed tool steel, M42 narrow stips in China.
