Dimethyl carbonate is a non-toxic, environmental friendly, and broadly utilized chemical material with great market potential. For its production, more attention at home and abroad has been paid to the transesterification process. It is pointed out that developing new transesterification technologies will significantly lower the capital investment and production cost, thus get good profit.
