摘要
强调了理论与主题的思考、多地点研究、比较研究和国家概念的重要性,并对离散族群、新移民、华人经济等概念作了新的有启发意义的解释。研究海外华人,应该以当地的脉络、当地的立场看当地的问题,也就是要离开中国的意识来看海外华人问题。此外,要注重深度的田野研究,靠文献资料是不够的。祖宗崇拜、非法移民、华人劳工、华人教育等,都是很重要的课题,海外华人研究应该包括从中国移出的少数民族。
Emphasized the significance of consideration of theory and subjects, multi -location fieldwork, comparative research and the concept of country, dispersed ethnic group, new migrants and Chinese economy are also reinterpreted. To study overseas Chinese cannot avoid local background, that is to avoid the consciousness of China. Besides, it cannot completely depend on documents references; therefore, it is necessary to conduct deep fieldwork. Ancestor worship, illegal migrants, Chinese labor and Chinese education are all important programs. While overseas Chinese studies shall also include ethnic groups emigrated from China.
