The first part of the essay analyzes the r eaction of mortal women facing the challenge of fate so as to reveal their immen se passion once their dream and desire are oppressed. The second part analyzes t he opposites of the passion and the Greek rationality, and probes on the value o f such original impetus. Such passion sometimes is displayed in an indulgent or even evil way, but it is still part of human being and shall be perished, savore d and researched instead of evaded and denied.
