摘要
导出了双波长光波在随机双折射光纤中传输所满足的一般非线性耦合方程 .研究了 2×10Gb/sWDM系统中偏振模色散特性 ,提出了采用同步调制的方法可以有效地抑制偏振模色散对WDM系统的影响 .
The general nonlinear propagation equations of dual-lightwaves in random birefringent fibers are deduced. The characteristic of polarization mode dispersion (PMD) in 2× 10 Gb/s WDM system is studied. It is found that PMD in WDM system can be effectively suppressed by the synchronous modulation technique.
