摘要
甲午战败后,由于张之洞与维新派在救亡和变法等方面有许多共同之处,双方进行合作。张之洞在合作过程中坚持为我所用的方针和“中体西用”的指导思想。由于在思想等方面的矛盾,张之洞与维新派的合作关系最终破裂。
After the defeat of the Sino-Japanese War (1894-1895), there was a constitutional reform and modernization throughout the country. As they had much in common, Zhang Zhidong decided to cooperate with the Modernization Group. He adhered to the thought of making foreign things serve China. But in the end, their cooperation came to an end owing to their contradiction in thought.
