摘要
中国是世界上最早产生种植农业的地区之一,观象授时对农业文明之发生具有决定性意义,由此衍生的时空观对中国古代城市规划产生了深刻影响,北京旧城子午卯酉时空格局即为其典型代表;中华文化在统一多民族国家形成与发展过程中显示了高度的包容性与适应性,天圆地方宇宙观及其衍生的设计手法贯穿五千年文明史,这在北京旧城空间营造中留下厚重印记。深入挖掘北京旧城历史文化价值,切实加大文化遗产保护力度,具有重大意义。
The land of China was home to one of the earliest agricultural civilizations to develop in the world. The way in which ancient people viewed time was a key factor in the development of a civilization like China that relied heavily on grain-based agriculture and planting crops according to the seasons. This is also reflected in urban planning, and can be demonstrated in the spatial and temporal layout of Old Beijing. Chinese culture has shown a high degree of inclusiveness and adaptability in the process of state formation and development towards a unified, multi-ethnic nation. Throughout the five thousand-year-long history of Chinese civilization, the cosmological concept of a round heaven and a square earth has been the basis for design, and also a major influence on the construction of urban space in Old Beijing. Today it is significant to uphold the historical and cultural values of traditional urban planning and strengthen the protection of Old Beijing’s cultural heritage.
