Recently, the quantitative 'di-region' theory of the relationship between carcinogenic activity and molecular structure of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) has been put forward by one of the present authors. The essentials of the di-region theory can be seen in the previous paper. In terms of the above theory, a quantitative equation for the forecast of carcinogenic activity of PAH has been inferred by the author as follows:
