摘要
网络的发展及盛行,改变了信息的传播渠道和方式,同时带来了语言表达的新方法。这些语言紧扣社会热点,由此产生的"网络热词"也常常获得人们的广泛关注,并受到大众网友的推崇。随着网络热词更广泛的应用于人们的现实生活,其英译问题也逐渐成为人们的关注之一。网络热词具有丰富的文化内涵和特色,翻译时需综合考虑。本文以"佛系"这一网络热词的翻译为例,探讨网络热词的英译策略。
The development and prevalence of the network has changed the channels and methods of information dissemination and brought new methods of language expression.These languages are closely linked to social hot spots,resulting in 'online hot words' are often received widespread attention,and popular Internet users.With the more extensive application of online hot words in people’s real life,the translation of online hot words into English has gradually become one of people’s concerns.Internet hot words have rich cultural connotations and characteristics,which should be taken into account in translation.In this paper,the translation strategy of Internet hot words is discussed with the example of 'Buddha system'.
