摘要
英国女作家希拉里·曼特尔凭借其长篇历史小说《狼厅》荣获第41届布克文学奖。作者从第三人称的视角叙述了都铎王朝时期亨利八世为生育王储而与凯瑟琳王后离婚又迎娶其第二位王后安妮·博林的故事。本文从新历史主义的视角,对该部小说进行了解读。
The British Woman writer Hilary Mantel won the 41 th Man Booker Prize by her long historical novel Wolf Hall, in which she narrated from the third-person viewpoint that the King Henry VIII tried to divorce his first Queen Catherine so as to marry Anne Boleyn and give birth to a Crown Prince. This thesis will analyze this novel from the perspective of New Historicism
