Linear suppression of intercarrier interference in OFDM systems

摘要 研究了正交频分复用(OFDM)载波间干扰的一种线性抑制技术。通过发射的导频符号估计出一个循环酉阵,然后利用循环矩阵和酉阵的性质,进行一定的线性运算,可以极大地抑制OFDM载波间干扰。为了降低这种算法的复杂度和提高频谱利用效率,该文提出了采用部分导频符号来估计循环酉阵,然后利用线性运算进行载波间干扰部分抑制的方法,分析了导频符号的个数对这种方法性能的影响。分析和仿真表明,选择3~5个导频符号可以获得复杂度和性能的折衷,相对于标准的接收机可以获得大约5~20dB的性能增益。 The suppresion of intercarrier interference (ICI) in mobile environments is a challenge for orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) systems. A new linear technique developed to suppress ICI computes the unitary matrix that is then used in a linear algorithm to suppress ICI. A partial ICI suppression algorithm with several pilot symbols was used to reduce the complexity and greatly improve system performance. Simulations indicate that 3~5 pilot symbols provide a gain of 5~20 dB which is a better choice for rectual systems.
