摘要
通过计算机图像处理技术对海水-H2S介质和工业循环水中腐蚀的碳钢进行了SEM图像分析.结果表明,碳钢表面腐蚀形貌具有统计自相似性,即分形特征;用盒子维法测定其表面形貌分维值分别为2.822和2.805,与实测腐蚀速率相吻合.分维值的大小反映了腐蚀过程中碳钢表面凹凸起伏和不规则等复杂程度,是腐蚀专家系统中定量描述金属表面腐蚀形貌的主要特征参数之一.
Image-processing technique is used to analyze the SEM micrographs of carbon steel corrosion surface in the sea water-H2S solution and the industry circulation water, and self-similar behaviors, or fractal characteristics are identified from the analyzed results. The fractal dimensions of the corrosion surface in the two environments are determined from the gray scale distribution of the images by box-dimension method, and the corresponding values are 2.822 and 2.805 respectively. The undulation, the irregularity, as well as the complexity of the corrosion surface, are revealed by the value of the surface fractal dimensions, which are found to be in agreement with the trend of measured corrosion rates. The fractal dimension of the corrosion surface can then be used as an important parameter for the description of the corrosive surface images in the process of developing expert system for corrosion.
