摘要 Compound A was isolated from endophytic fungus( No.2526) of mangrove Avicennia from the South China Sea. The structure of compound A was elucidated by compr ehensive spectral data and coincided with that of sterigmatocystin. Compound A s howed a weak cytotoxic activity against Bel-7402 and NCIH-460 in vitro wit h IC 50 96 53×10 -6 and 72 52×10 -6 g/mL respectively. It is the first report on sterigmatocystin that isolated from marine fungus. Compound A was isolated from endophytic fungus( No.2526) of mangrove Avicennia from the South China Sea.
