摘要
叶维廉作为 2 0世纪 60年代出现在中国台湾文坛的人物 ,他在多个领域都有杰出的建树 ,因此 ,他也就具有了多重的身份 ,既是诗人 ,也是文艺理论家、批评家 ,既是著名的教授 ,也是成就卓著的翻译家。在他的文化建树中 ,他的诗歌创作 ,具有鲜明的个性与杰出的意义。从他诗歌创作的历程看 ,他走过了一条从现代到古代 ,从西方到东方的道路 ,而他诗歌的意义则在于比较鲜明地反映了 2 0世纪中国新诗追求现代化与民族化的思想、艺术倾向 ,为我们探讨中国 2 0世纪新诗成功的经验 。
Wai Lim Yip, being a figure on the Taiwan literary world during 1960s', is a poet, critic of literature and art, professor of literature and translator. His poetry reveals delicious individuality and outstanding significance. The course of his poetry is a way from the modern times to the ancient times, from the west to the east. The significance of his poetry reflects the trend that Chinese New Poetry pursues for modernization and nationalization.
