碱泉子—洛包泉活动断裂带总体走向北东东 ,平面上由 7条呈左阶斜列状排列的活动断裂组成。断裂带自晚更新世晚期以来一直在活动 ,184 2年与 1914年发生了 2次 7.5级地震 ,并沿断裂带形成地震破裂带。对断裂带的新活动特征及断裂活动与地震活动关系的研究表明 ,碱泉子—洛包泉活动断裂带自晚更新世晚期以来约发生过 10次显著活动 ,其中大多数活动与
Jianquanzi-Luobaoquan active fault zone, general strike in NEE, is composed of 7 left-stepped, oblique-arranged active faults. The faults have been active all the times since late Late Pleistocene. Two earthquakes with magnitude 7.5 occurred on the zone in 1842 and 1914, and formed rupture belts along the fault zone. According to the research on new activity characteristics of the faults and the relation between the fault activity and the seismicity, it is shown that 10 notable activities have happened on the zone since late Late Pleistocene, and most of which were related to the occurrence of M≥7 earthquakes.
