摘要
应用层序地层学进行地层研究,在勘探开发的不同阶段要采用不同级别的层序地层单元。研究陆相地层的烃源岩分布,要以二级层序为基本单元;研究海相或海陆过渡相地层的储盖组合,要以三级层序为基本单元;在勘探程度较高的地区(包括开发区)寻找地导圈闭,要以四级或更高频层序为基本单元。层序地层学的主要贡献是它能够提供统一的、比传统的地层单元组更细的年代地层单元,从而提高了年代地层对比的精度和沉积相预测的准确性。
Each order of sequence stratigraphic unit has its specific application in exploration:the 2 nd-order se-quence(super sequence)was used as a basic unit to research the source rock distribution in Paleogene fluvial-lacustrine clastic rocks;the 3 rd-order sequence used as a basic unit to study reservoir-seal rock system in Neogene marine clastic rocks,and the 4 th-order of high-frequency sequences were used as a basic units to find the stratigraphic traps in the area with high exploration maturity. Sequence stratigraphy successfully provides a series of time-stratigraphic units which allows us to do high resolution chrono-stratigraphic correlation and facies analysis
