摘要
多重调谐质量阻尼器 ( MTMD)是由频率呈线性分布的多个 TMD所组成 .刚度和阻尼保持常量但质量变化形成的 MTMD模型能够提供更好的有效性和鲁棒性 .文中揭示了这种 MTMD模型最优动力特性的进一步趋势 .数值结果表明 ,对于一个给定的总质量比 ,当 MTMD的总数超过某一值时 ,其最优平均阻尼比趋近于零即导致近零最优平均阻尼比 .近零最优平均阻尼比将使MTMD产生大的冲程 ,因此 ,MTMD的总数存在上限 。
Multiple tuned mass dampers (MTMD) consist of many tuned mass dampers (TMDs) with the frequencies taking on a linear distribution. It has been demonstrated that the MTMD with the identical stiffness and damping coefficient but unequal mass provides better effectiveness and higher robustness. Further trends of the optimum dynamic characteristics of the MTMD were disclosed. The numerical results indicate that for a given total mass ratio, when the total number exceeds a certain vlaue, the optimum average damping ratio of the MTMD approaches zero, implying that the near zero optimum average damping ratio occurs. The near zero optimum average damping ratio will make the MTMD have a large stroke. Therefore, there exists an upper limit on the total number of the MTMD, that is, the maximum allowable total number.
