摘要
城墙与城门是中国古代传统城市的重要表征,城墙的格局和城门的布设直接影响着城市的内部建构和道路交通体系,进而决定城市的空间结构与形态特征。合肥建置于秦,千百年间均属南北要冲,是江淮一带最具传统城市特色的重镇,明清两代,合肥得益于全国层面普遍开展的城垣建设和庐州府治的重要地位,建成了周长二十六里的城墙和七座城门,其主城区的空间形态及内部功能分区亦在此基础上逐渐完善均衡。从历史维度看,明清两代合肥的城垣建设使得合肥的城治规模在皖境独树一帜,成为江淮间政治经济发展的写照,亦是其在清末数度脱颖而出,成为安徽省会的重要历史根源,就现实意义而言,今天合肥旧城区的改造与发展更离不开这笔宝贵的历史文化资源。
City walls and gates are important symbols of traditional cities in ancient China.The pattern of city walls and the layout of city gates directly affect the city’s internal construction and road traffic system,and then determine the spatial structure and morphological characteristics of the city.Hefei was built in the Qin Dynasty.It has been a key city in the north and south for thousands of years and it is the most traditional city in the Jianghuai area.During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,benefiting from the city wall construction project which was widely carried out at the national level,as well as from the important position of the Luzhou government,Hefei built a 26-lilong city wall and seven gates.On this basis,the spatial form and internal functional zoning of the main urban area of the city are gradually improved and balanced.From the perspective of history,in the Ming and Qing dynasties,the construction of Hefei’s city walls made the scale of its urban governance unique in the territory of Anhui,and became a portrayal of the political and economic development between the Yangtze River and Huaihe River.It also stood out several times in the late Qing Dynasty and became an important historical source of the capital of Anhui Province.As far as practical significance is concerned,the transformation and development of Hefei’s old urban areas today are inseparable from this precious historical and cultural resources.
