摘要
In learning a foreign language, pronunciation has always been an early obstacle for students to overcome. The teachers' main task was to try to give the letters of the target language the sound values they normally convey to the literate native speaker. Pronunciation teaching was thus only a preparatory task for getting as quickly as possible to the real problem of language teaching: language contact and language input.
