基于情境的商务英语词汇教学

摘要 商务英语与一般英语的主要区别之一就是旧词新义和专业词汇的大量使用。因此,词汇是学习商务英语相关课程的关键。商务英语课堂以语言为工具,以商务为内容,学生在学习商务知识的过程中习得语言知识,此特点便于教师将词汇放在特定的商务情境中,让学生通过生动具体的情境习得词汇知识。该文基于情境教学理论,结合商务英语的特点,主要分析了如何以情境教学理念为指导有效地进行商务英语词汇教学。 One of the major differences between business English and general English is the special meaning of vocabulary and wide use of business jargons, which results in the significance of vocabulary study in learning business English courses. English be-ing the learning tool and business the learning content, a typical business English class enables students to acquire the language knowledge through the process of learning the business knowledge. This characteristic in turn facilitates the application of situa-tion-based method in teaching vocabulary, thus enabling the vocabulary acquisition to be produced in specific and vivid situations. Based on the situational teaching theory and the features of business English, this paper mainly analyzes how to effectively teach business English vocabulary under the guidance of situational teaching theory.
