摘要
语言相对论对文学作品翻译实践具有一定的指导作用。译者在进行文学作品的英汉翻译活动时,可以采用语义分解的方法,从译语读者的思维方式、语境等角度分析并拆解出源语语义,再根据英汉两种语言的句式结构特点对分解出的语义进行重新配置。
The linguistic relativity plays a role in literary translation practice. Translators, in their translation activities, may possi-bly use the method of decomposing to find out the derivative, inferential, and implicative meanings of the semantic components in the source text, and then to reposition the meanings in accordance with the structural features of English and Chinese.
