摘要
在汉语和英语中,不同颜色或色彩的词都有着各种很丰富的含义。由于不同的文化,不同的语言习惯,历史背景,传统习俗等因素,相同的颜色会有不同的联想意义。因此,我们不仅要注意观察它们本身的基本意义,而且我们更要留心它们含义深广的联想意义,颜色的联想意义在不同民族语言中往往有不同的特点。该文将通过对英汉语言中不同颜色的对比分析,试图探讨在跨文化交际中我们应该注意避免出现对颜色词语用上不当的迁移,以真正达到交际的目的。
In Chinese and English, different colors or color words all have very rich meanings. Because of different cultures, different language habits, historical backgrounds, traditional customs and other factors, the same color will express a different associative meaning. Therefore, we should not only pay attention to the basic meaning of its own, but also their more deep associative meanings. The meaning of color words in different national languages often have different features. This paper will have a contrastive analysis of the color words in English and Chinese, and attempt to probe into that the improper pragmatic transfer of color words can be avoided in cross-cultural communication in order to truly achieve the aim of communication.
