英汉语明显地存在着文化差异,文化翻译的实质是文化意象的翻译。该文从英语词义修辞格角度来分析翻译过程中文化意象的传递,探讨文化意象在各种词义修辞格翻译中的转换,说明原文的意象转换是否恰当,直接影响译文的质量和翻译的效果。
