摘要
本文是对袁家山旧石器遗址黑褐色土文化层中出土石制品的研究报告。此层出土石制品589件,原料以小型石英砾石为主,类型包括砾石、石核、石片、工具、废品,其中以废品居多。锤击法为主要剥片和加工方法,石器技术系统属简单石核-石片剥片策略。小型尺寸产品占绝大多数,工具组合以刮削器、尖状器为主,其中小型石核刮削器最具地方特点,代表了澧水流域旧石器时代晚期的一个区域文化类型。根据石制品的分布和类型等特点可知,该遗址这一时期的文化遗存应为早期人类进行石器生产和加工的临时营地。
This is a research report on the unearthed stone artifacts in the dark brown soil layer of Yuanjiashan Paleolithic site.Totally 589 pieces of unearthed lithic artifacts were found in this layer.The raw material is dominated by the small-sized quartz cobbles,which include cobbles,cores,flakes,tools and waste products.Among them,the waste products are in the majority.Most of the artifacts were produced and modified by direct hard-hammer percussion.The overall stone technology belongs to the so called small flake lithic industry.The majority of the artifacts are small-sized products.The assemblages of the tools are mainly scrapers and points,among which the small-sized core scrapers own the local unique characteristic.Thus,the small-sized core scrapers represent a regional cultural type of upper Paleolithic in Lishui river basin.According to the distribution and type of stone artifacts,the cultural relics of the site could be a temporary hominin camp for stone production.
