摘要
一门学科要有开拓和突破,既需要拓展自身的研究空间,亦需要深入了解学科自身的发展史。近代史研究是这样,翻译史研究亦如此。翻译活动在中国有着近3000年不间断的历史,形成了深厚的翻译传统,但将这一翻译活动的演变作为独立的研究对象来进行考察,却是从20世纪初才开始的。新近面世的《20世纪中国翻译史学史》一书以"起承转合"为线索,将20世纪(1902—2000)中国翻译史研究的演变过程,从清末起步、发轫,到民国时期的承接、承势,至1949年后的演变、转折,并在20世纪末完成了中国两岸三地汇合、会聚的过程,作出了比较系统而全面的梳理。全书以翻译史研究论著为主要资料,结合其他文献,首次勾勒出20世纪中国翻译史研究发展演变的脉络与系谱。中国近代史学,无论在研究领域,还是研究方法上,都需要拓展自身的空间,如何拓展近代中国文化史研究的专门领域,深入到近代其他专门学科的史学史研究,该书作者作了一次初步的尝试。
Translation has a history of nearly 3000 years in China. However,it was only at the beginning of the 20 th century that the evolution of translation was investigated as an independent object of study. The newly published book History of Chinese Translation History in the 20 th Century sorts out the evolution of the study of Chinese translation history in the 20 th century( 1902-2000) systematically and comprehensively. This book,based on translation history studies and other literatures,outlines for the first time the development and genealogy of Chinese translation history studies in the 20 th century. The author of this book made a preliminary attempt on how to expand the special field of the study of modern Chinese cultural history and go deep into the study of the history of other special disciplines in modern times.
