摘要
文章就近年来英国开始推广实施的新的中小学教师评价制度———表现管理,作简要的介绍和分析。从职责、对象、组织结构和结果等方面说明了该制度的基本架构,围绕目标制定、过程监控和表现检查三个方面介绍了表现管理的实施方法和步骤,就教师课堂教学评价的环节和标准作了简要阐述,并在此基础上,概括了该制度的主要特点。
The purpose of this article is to provide an illustration and analysis of how schools are implementing the new performance management system which has come into effect recently in the UK. Firstly, it gives a short overview of the framework of the system by focusing on the roles, responsibilities, who is included, and outcomes of the performance review. Then it describes the performance management cycle which involves three stages: planning, monitoring and review. Thirdly, it shows the specific criteria for the assessment of the effectiveness of teaching and learning and a three stage lesson observation which includes collecting evidence, drawing conclusions, and giving feedback. And finally, it summarizes the main characteristics of the system.
