摘要
介绍了特征线法(MOC法)对真空羽流场进行数值模拟的过程。用MOC法进行了喷管出口流动不均匀情况真空羽流场算例的求解,所得结果与理论分析相符合,与DSMC法计算结果吻合,提高了计算效率、节省了计算时间。结果表明:用MOC法可代替DSMC法对连续介质区进行模拟,并可在用N—S和DSMC耦合数值模拟中确定耦合边界。
Method of Characteristics (MOC) for vacuum plume simulation is introduced. With this method, a vacuum plume with non-uniform nozzle exit flow was computed. The result is in good agreement with those of theoretical analysis and DSMC computation . It was concluded that MOC can improve computation efficiency and save computing time. In addition, DSMC can be substituted by MOC in the continual zone of vacuum plume. When simulating vacuum plume with N-S and DSMC coupling method, the coupling boundary can be determined previously with MOC.
