摘要
北魏在和南方政权争夺中间地带的过程中,积极与处于中间地带的蛮族首领桓诞、田益宗合作,以利南进。双方合作的历程表明:蛮族依附于北魏主要是为了自身生存、发展的需要,北魏对蛮族的政策则取决于争夺中间地带的军事、政治需要。随着封建化与中间地带争夺的加深,北魏对蛮族的政策遂与南朝趋于一致。
In the course of the contention over the Intermediate Zone with Southern dynasties, for the advantage of advancing toward the south, Northern Wei took vigorous action to cooperation with the chieves of Man natality Huan Dan and Tian Yizong, who lived in the Zone between Northern Wei and Southern Dynasties. The cooperation showed that the reason Man nationality in the Intermediate Zone attached themselves to Northern Wei was for themselves to exist and to develop, as for the policy of Northern Wei to Man nationality depended on the political and military profit of fighting over the Intermediate Zone. With the intensification of the contention and feudalization of himself, Northern Wei adjusted the policy to Man nationality of the Intermediate Zone to Southern Dynasties.
