双混沌光注入VCSEL获取宽带宽偏振混沌信号 被引量:5

Generation of Wide-Bandwidth Polarized Chaotic Signals Based on VCSEL Subject to Dual Chaotic Optical Injection

摘要 基于自旋反转模型(SFM),理论研究了双混沌光注入时偏振混沌信号的带宽特性。研究结果表明,与单混沌光注入方式相比,双混沌光注入方式可减弱注入锁定效应,垂直腔面发射激光器(VCSEL)可在注入强度和频率失谐参数空间的更大范围内获得偏振宽带宽混沌信号。对于给定的注入强度,当双混沌光的两个频率失谐绝对值同为较大值时,系统更易产生宽带宽的偏振混沌;对于给定的频率失谐,系统可在两个注入强度参数空间的特定区域内实现宽带宽混沌输出,且正的频率失谐条件更有利于该区域的扩展。 Based on the spin flip model(SFM), the bandwidth characteristics of the polarized chaotic signals generated subject to dual chaotic optical injection are studied theoretically. The research results show that, in contrast with the case of single chaotic optical injection, the dual chaotic optical injection weakens the injection locking effect, and the vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser(VCSEL) can achieve wideband polarized chaotic signals in a wider range of the parameter space of injection intensity and frequency detuning. Under the given injection intensity, when two frequency detunings associated with the dual chaotic optical injection possess large absolute values, the system is more inclined to produce wide-bandwidth polarized chaos. Under the given frequency detuning, the specific region in the parameter space of two injection intensities required for generating wideband chaos can be determined and expanded if a positive frequency detuning is chosen.
